| Location and Facilities: | Cedarcrest is in the northern part of Keene just off Route 12 and is readily accessible to the Cheshire Medical Center and downtown Keene. Spacious classrooms include mechanical lifts, swings, computer access and positioning and mobility equipment. An on-site adapted playground and a variety of community activities are readily available to students. |
| Admissions Procedure: | Inquiries are welcome from families, school districts, area agencies, physicians, hospitals, and home health providers. Formal referral from school district required. Pre-admission screening and application process assures appropriateness of referral and placement. |
| Programs and Services: | The Special Education program for day and residential students integrates Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy services with our Special Education curriculum in a full day, extended school year program. Basic nursing support is available to all students. Residential students participate in evening and weekend recreation programming. Diplomas are not granted. In addition to the School program, Cedarcrest Center offers both short term and extended medical residential care and a variety of training opportunities for providers. |

| History and Philosophy: | Cedarcrest Center for Children with Disabilities has offered children with complex medical and developmental needs a residential option for the past sixty years. The Cedarcrest School offers a Day Education option for children from surrounding communities. The school combines access to the general curriculum with sensory motor activities. |
