Location and Facilities:School comprises three adjacent buildings with six classrooms with a central administrative/disciplinary office area.
 
Admissions Procedure:All students referred are required to take part in an interview process that includes a full day visit to the school. Physician approval that the student can participate in a physically demanding program is also required. If accepted, students are enrolled for a 30-day diagnostic period, and if appropriate, enrolled for the remainder of the school year.
 
Programs and Services:Comprehensive academic curriculum, Adventure Based Counseling, individual counseling, group counseling, art therapy, vocational programming.
 
Additional Information:Approved by the NH Department of Education, Diploma granting, extended school year options.
Students are accepted throughout the year.
 
History and Philosophy:The Summit School serves students with educational disabilities. Students are provided small group academic instruction. Additionally, students attend adventure-based counseling activities weekly in order to improve self-esteem and strengthen social skills including communication, cooperation, problem solving, trust, leadership, and recreation. Students are grouped into small teams for all adventurebased counseling activities including; hiking, canoeing, rock climbing, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and skiing.
